Take them to the museum! Bring them to Broadway shows. Teach your children that their measure and self-worth is not defined by a number out of 100 or a letter in red pen at the top of a page. Getting caught up in grades and homework and tests can often do more harm than good. But education cannot, and should not, be limited to the classroom.
